If we have learned anything from 2020 it is the importance of family, the importance of a support system and the importance of togetherness – even if that is virtually.

For those of you who don’t know, we have sister stores in Newmarket (Golding) and King’s Lynn (Goddards) as well as our Coes stores in Ipswich, Maldon and Felixstowe. Our family of stores have united this year onto one website platform to give our customers even better service and a greater selection of brands and products than ever before. It also means that as we all come together, we can be there for you any time/anywhere whether that’s online, in-store or click and collect. Being an independent business, family really does mean everything to us. We know that working together will help us further improve the high level of customer service we already provide. Like any family, all our stores have their own identities and personalities, but we share the same values and vision.

It is from this celebration of togetherness and the ability to provide even better service that our latest campaign ‘open for more’ was born.

‘Open for more’ means that our new united front is able to benefit every customer with more choice, selection, brands, flexibility, resource, inspiration and an overall better shopping experience.

The windows and marketing for our ‘open for more’ campaign reflect this by showcasing our wider range of brands. This includes brands from our sister stores and brands that are new in this season. We are very excited to be stocking Holland Cooper, Selected and A Fish Named Fred and we are also now providing a wider range of women’s footwear with new brands Ash and Victoria.

For the colours of this campaign we wanted something eye-catching and positive as well as being seasonal and on-trend to reflect the colour palettes of our buyer’s current collections. The four colours have different personalities but they don’t clash; they come together to make a flowing pattern highlighting the individuality of our stores uniting into one family.

We couldn’t discuss togetherness and family without acknowledging the overwhelming support we have had during what has been a tough year for everybody: whether online orders, sending in your lovely drawings to be a part of our windows or the heart-warming messages of support that we received. The Coes family really does reflect togetherness through the support of our customers and, of course,  our amazing staff across all of our stores and all of our departments.
