Fiona: The Month of May1 min read

I love the month of May and the anticipation of the warm and sunny months ahead. This time of year I am inspired by my garden and love the burst of colour from my Camellia and the blousy Hydrangeas and Peonies as they come into bloom. One of my favourite places to visit is Bourne Nurseries on Wherstead Road. Clare and her team are a brilliant source of inspiration and help and we always laugh as I go in with bundles of gardening vouchers to spend!!  My new Orla Kiely watering can is being put to good use and I have my eyes on this gorgeous plant pot and ‘string in a tin’ container.

I suppose this follows through on my choice of fashion this time of year. We are so lucky to have such an array of colour in our shop. William and I have a treat planned in a few weeks on The British Pullman and I have been thinking long and hard about the best thing to wear. I think my mind is made up on this pretty Fee G dress that I bought last Summer.  It is beautiful and elegant but has a fashionable twist in the form of a fluorescent Japanese-inspired print.

The next decision will be what to wear for lunch at the Suffolk Show! I think I will need to continue plodding the streets in my running gear to burn off all this socialising and entertaining. More to follow on that subject next time …..
