I often chat to customers about how, in retail, we spend half our time thinking a season ahead. Winter is hopefully drawing to a close now and our Spring stock is piling in, yet we have (just about) finished buying for next Autumn/Winter …and my marketing team are even trying to come up with the plan for next Christmas!
As 2016 proved, its hard to predict what’s around the corner, but as we look back at our successes I am very proud of our Christmas Art of Giving campaign. We managed to raise the fantastic sum of £15,000 for Cancer Research UK and I thank you wholeheartedly for your support.
The best part of my job is spending time on the shop floor with my team and chatting to customers. In a world where technology can rule, it is so important to keep the personal touch that our business is founded on.
